My adventure in real estate kicked off in 2017, under the watchful eye of my Uncle Colin – the only man whose face could be on all four spots of my personal Mt. Rushmore of Contractors. Growing up, watching him was like getting a masterclass construction and savvy investing. It didn’t just spark my interest; it lit a fire. With every story he shared, I saw a chance to alter my family’s story, turning me into a sponge for knowledge (and, admittedly, sometimes the universe’s punching bag as I navigated the learning curve).

Living with a visual disability made me hate the idea of stepping into unfamiliar spaces for work each day – on my commute, for meetings, etc. That drive to carve out a more comfortable, controlled path led me to pivot away from the 9-to-5 grind, despite some pretty cool gigs at places like SiriusXM and the NBA. I wanted more than just a paycheck; I craved freedom and the chance to write my own ticket.

Fast forward through a whirlwind of learning, grinding, and yes, a few ‘learning moments’ (let’s not call them mistakes), and here I am, with nearly 30 flips under my belt. But the real win? Sharing this journey, helping others flip the script on their futures, too.
